Laboratories

Within its clean room barrier, EPIC offers around 30 wet-labs in close proximity to the animal holding rooms as well as specifically equiped technology laboratories for direct use by the researchers.

The laboratories are equiped for work with biological material and laboratory animals under high hygienic conditions. Several of the laboratories and their sterile workbenches are bookable in advance via the EPIC booking system accessible to registered users on the EPIC Sharepoint.

The following dedicated laboratories are available:

• sterile workbenches in different labs
• surgery rooms
• behavioral study rooms
• shared technology laboratories with various equipment
• experimental laboratories for each research group
